In Swaziland, 1 in 3 girls are sexually abused before they are 18. Girls’ Empowerment clubs are helping, as they have been proven safe place for girls to express themselves, understand their basic human rights and learn the skills needed to take control of their lives.

Come hear about this and other programs and initiatives addressing violence against women and girls at this free panel discussion. Featured guests include Cebile Manzini-Henwood, Executive Director of the Swaziland Action Group Against Abuse (partner of Crossroads International), Jacqueline Hansen, Women’s Rights Campaigner with Amnesty International Canada, as well as representatives from Sisters in Spirit.
